The key goal of the Night Manager at QuickChek is to ensure the smooth operation of the overnight shift, complete assigned tasks, and demonstrate Total Customer Dedication (TCD).
The Night Manager motivates and supports fellow Team Members in being productive while the store manager is offsite.
Nights Managers are responsible for both Team Member and customer safety and for ensuring that QuickChek is always A Great Place to Work and A Great Place to Shop.
As the Manager-in-charge, the individual is responsible for maintaining store standards, ensuring all safety and operating procedures are adhered to, and modeling a positive store culture for Team Members and customer while providing a great customer experience.
Night Managers must be able to delegate tasks, stay-up-to-date on policies and procedures, and follow proper steps for food preparation, vendor check-in, loss prevention, cash handling, timekeeping, payroll, and sanitation.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service Sweep, mop and clean as necessary Keep store neat and orderly (including bathrooms) Follow proper guidelines for food preparation, cash handling, timekeeping, sanitation and all other procedures Price, pack-out and face grocery/other orders Cross-train in deli, branded foods, bakery and cashier duties.
Adhere to loss prevention guidelines Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:

Year supervisory experience preferred Available and comfortable with working Overnight/3rd shift Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to motivate and work with a team Punctuality and excellent attendance record Physical Requirements:
Stand - Continuously Bend/Squat/Twist - Frequently Reaching - Frequently Work in cold environment - Occasionally Lifting Up to 10lbs - Continuously Up to 25lbs - Frequently Up to 50lbs - Rarely Push/pull 40lbs - Occasionally Walk - Continuously Stoop/Kneel/Crouch - Occasionally Grasp/Pinch/Grip - Frequently.
