The Pediatrics Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the pediatric unit, responsible for ensuring exceptional patient care is delivered to all patients of the department.
The Pediatrics Nurse Manager will assist with continuous education of new-hire and current clinical and non-clinical unit staff, as well as the departmental workflow which includes scheduling, assignments, evaluations, and assisting with direct patient care as needed, reporting to the house supervisor.
The Nurse Manager Pediatrics will have strong interpersonal skills as they lead the pediatric team, cross collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists, and communicate with patient families as needed.
Since the Pediatrics Nurse Manager is a leader, mentor, and resource to their team, the Nurse Manager should have previous clinical experience working in an inpatient pediatrics unit, along with previous management experience working as a Clinical Director, Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor.
Additionally, the Pediatrics Nurse Manager must hold their active RN license along with proof of their COVID-19 Vaccine prior to starting.
