Job Description:
As an Optometric Technician, you will be expected to perform a variety of tasks.
This will including (but not limited to):
assisting patients with optometry procedures, pre testing, contact lens insertion & removal training, picking eyewear, working up patient fees, insurance authorization, checking in orders, scheduling appointments, light office cleaning, as well as other administrative tasks.
We do offer paid in-office training.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to learn and grow with our practice.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for their work and willingness to grow with our practice.
The hours required for the position are as follows:
Mon, Wed & Thu 8-5, Tue 11-8 and every other Sat 8-1 (typically 2 per month).
We are closed on Fri & Sun.
These hours are non negotiable.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Minimum 1 year experience is preferred but not required.
Must provide your own scrubs/uniform.
