Essential Functions:
Initiate and promote activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of each resident at all times.
Consistently maintain standards for activity scheduling and documentation established by policies and regulatory requirements.
Solicit the involvement of the community (clubs, groups, organizations, agencies, churches, individuals, etc.
) when planning facility activities and events.
Maintain detailed records of activity programs and participation of individual residents, identifying progress toward established care plan goals.
Maintain all activity related records required by regulations and Medical Records - activity assessments, progress notes, etc.
Experience:
High school diploma or GED Prior experience in a resident activities program in a health care setting, preferred.
Skill at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.
Outstanding interpersonal skills with high level of energy and enthusiasm Join our outstanding Life Enrichment team! Part-time We provide personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, gowns, and hand sanitizer to all team members; conduct daily temperature checks and provide socially distanced workspaces, as permitted.
Because the health and safety of our team members and all those we care for is our top priority, our team members are vaccinated and have received their booster.
We strongly believe that getting vaccinated and following CDC's recommendations offer the best protection.
Pursuant to our COVID-19 mitigation protocols, team members must be fully vaccinated, upon commencing employment, subject to legally required exemptions.
