Unit Representative
OverviewHackettstown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Part-Time Unit Representative for the Telemetry Unit. Shift varies, including every other weekend.Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Greets patients upon arrival and assists with administrative functions within the department.
Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, receive information from patients and physicians regarding insurance authorizations and lab values, performs filing and fulfills requests for copies of images, etc.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:
Must be familiar with computer scheduling applications and possess excellent communication skills.
Candidate must handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor and be able to multitask as well as prioritize.
Self motivated individual with the ability to work well within a team atmosphere required.
