Process Engineering - Injection Molding

Who will responsible for Coordinating product and manufacturing engineering projects. Provide engineering support and direction for all production departments in order to solve manufacturing problems, improve yield, and product quality. Develop new and innovative ideas in the manufacturing facility supporting the scope and goals of the plant.

Tasks:
Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and optimize new manufacturing processes, equipment and fixtures.
Perform process capability studies ensuring manufacturing processes are in control.
Provide technical assistance for applicable departments to assure the smooth operation of processes.
Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
Provide departments with process input for new and redesigned products.
Work with molding specialists to troubleshoot existing molds, processes and equipment.
Responsible for accuracy of product routing and times.
Continuously improve the production floor through standardizing our manufacturing methods.
Manage long term capital improvement projects.
Work with tool engineering to complete tool proofing of all new tooling
Support and develop processes for T&B Utilities Group facility.
Travel as needed for projects.
Perform, as assigned, other similar or related duties.
Requirements:
Basic Qualification:
7 years of overall Manufacturing experience with min 2 years in Injection Molding experience .
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering
Strong interpersonal skills a plus.
Experience in process development, and/or Statistical Process Control (SPC) desired.
Significant experience working within manufacturing and production floor environments.
Ability to Travel 35%.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
