Position Overview:The Machine Operator does not need any industry experience! They are open to training someone passionate about working hard and contributing to the success of a company. The Machine Operator can work in various departments of production and will have to strictly follow safety protocol. The Machine Operator will start as a temp employee, but when perm will be in a Union role that fully covers medical benefits and offers significant job stability. Forklift experience not required, but highly desired! No specific experience required.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

  • Be part of a highly regulated production team and be able to perform job duties independently once trained
  • Work 2nd or 3rd shift with little supervision on day to day responsibilities
  • Use various machines and equipment to contribute to the production process including: forklift, drum lifts, pallet jacks, stages
  • Utilize the computer/software system in house to process and execute tasks
  • Use robots and machines to move heavy drums and containers
  • Transfer materials or samples from one vessel to another
  • Handle cycle counting and inventory checks as needed
  • Review or update related paperwork and documentation
  • Comfortably operate heavy machinery including forklift, hi-low, hand truck and pallet jack

Qualifications for the Machine Operator:

  • Ability to read and write English and clearly communicate with team members
  • Ability to follow safety protocol, handle hazardous materials and adhere to regulatory guidelines
  • Ability to use basic computer systems, knowledge of SAP a plus
  • Ability to move heavy objects including but not limited to 55 gallon drums, but heavy lifting will be kept to a minimum as much as possible for safety reasons
  • Ability to work in the U. S. for any employer
  • Ability to provide professional references of previous employers

Education Requirements:

  • GED or High School Diploma required

Benefits: Once the company converts Machine Operator to an employee, he or she will need to join the Union. The Union fully covers medical benefits and offers a strong overall benefits package including vacation and job security.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
