Certified Medical Assistant

Hackettstown Family Medicine, part of Atlantic Medical Group, is currently seeking an experienced CMA to join our team.
Essential Functions:
The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i.e. managing patient flow, vital signs, patient intake, rooming of patients, assisting physician as needed, cleaning and re-stocking rooms, ordering supplies and maintaining exam rooms, as well as registering and scheduling patients in practice management system.
High School Diploma required
Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
MA certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required
Two years medical office experience preferred
EMR experience desired
Strong computer skills and front-line customer service skills essential
Ability travel to different practices in the Chilton and Morristown Medical Center areas
Ability to work flexible hours if necessary to accommodate practice hours
Position may require working one evening shift per week and/or one weekend shift per month

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
