Monitor Tech, Progressive Care Unit


Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintains cardiac monitoring for all telemetry patients
  • Supports patient flow by assessing telemetry needs daily and reporting to Primary RN
  • Maintains Telemetry equipment
  • Communicates effectively with healthcare team
  • Maintains professional appearance and behavior
  • Responds positively to requests made by family members and healthcare team
  • Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
  • Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Succesful completion of telemetry technician training program


  • BLS required

Relevant Experience

  • Able to pass telemetry pre-test
  • Current Monitor Tech experience and/or recent clinical experience preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
